Cone Beam 3-D Imaging
i-CATNext Generation i-CAT Our office is equipped with the Next Generation
i-CAT® Cone Beam 3-D Imaging system, which delivers high definition, digital CAT scan imaging of our patients in only 8.5 seconds. This imaging system drastically enhances the quality of care, minimizes the risk, and increases the predictably of treatment outcomes for dental procedures.

Working with 3-D imaging systems allows us to optimize implant treatments and placements, while being able to select the most suitable implant type, size, location, and angulations prior to surgery. Precise, cross-sectional slices of any desired location in the maxilla or mandible provide exact anatomical information, and allow us to detect and evaluate possible problems before they become serious.

The i-CAT® Cone Beam 3-D Dental Imaging system introduces the most complete 3-D imaging system for quicker and more comprehensive diagnostic treatment planning, allowing complete patient satisfaction by providing a predictable, long-term strategy for optimal oral health.

Materialise SimPlant
SimPlant Image 1In combination with our Cone Beam 3-D Imaging system, SimPlant provides accurate and comprehensive information about each patient's anatomy. This removes the need to speculate about the patient's anatomy as the 3-D imaging system helps create a digital model of your mouth, allowing us to produce an exact replica going into surgery. SimPlant can be used to clearly communicate the intended treatment options to the patients, giving them a visual of the entire dental procedure.

By incorporating SimPlant in our case planning, we are able to provide more predictable results as well as reducing the surgical time for our patients.

SimPlant can also contribute to the simplifying of the implant placement process. By creating a SurgiGuide, we are now able to construct a custom surgical guide, which is generated through the 3-D imaging system that gives us an exact replica of your mouth.

SurgiGuide
SurgiGuide drill guides take SimPlant diagnostics to a different level as these custom-made stereolithographic surgical guides are based on the simulated implant’s exact measurements and position. This provides a highly accurate drilling template that fits perfectly and ensures safe and predictable surgery for all of our patients.

NobelGuide
SimPlant Image 1NobelGuide™ is a complete treatment concept for diagnostics, prosthetic-driven planning and guided implant surgery for all indications – from a single missing tooth to a fully edentulous jaw.

Based on the implants, a NobelGuide™ surgical template is created that guides drilling and implant placement, using guided sleeves and a guided implant mount – implant system compatible.

This surgical template allows for the performance of minimally invasive, or flapless, surgical procedures, but also supports mini-flap and flap approaches.

The new NobelGuide™ planning software version is easy and flexible to use. The new functionality increases the efficacy and efficiency of the planning workflow.

NobelGuide™ has been proven to enhance safety, predictability and success of treatments, and is the trusted partner of dental professionals around the world.

Kodak Digital Imaging
With Kodak Dental Digital Imaging, we are able to eliminate the use of standard film radiographic technology. Digital radiography captures clear, precise, high-resolution digital radiographs, which allows us to make accurate, precise, and confident diagnoses for every patient. These digital images can now be stored in electronic patient charts, which allows our office to quickly and efficiently document your digital x-rays.

Piezosurgery
The Piezosurgery® device has been developed to overcome the limits of precision and intraoperatory safety existing in traditional bone cutting instruments. Piezosurgery® allows us to obtain high predictability and low morbidity in bone surgery.

Radiosurgery
Radiosurgery is the removal of soft tissue with the aid of a radio signal. The patient experiences a non-invasive and pressureless incision, which often requires no suturing and reduces the healing time. The radio wave produces a finer, less traumatic incision, and therefore has seen increased usage in all forms of delicate periodontal and aesthetic surgeries. The use of the high-frequency radiosurgery instrument allows us to perform a large variety of soft tissue procedures efficiently and with safe and predictable results.

Laser Dentistry
In some cases, laser dentistry provides a precise and effective way to perform many dental procedures. Laser dentistry is a modern dentistry technique that can improve the precision of your treatment while minimizing risk and enhancing recovery times. It is most effective during hard and soft tissue surgical situations, as it is a non-invasive treatment option for the patient.
Our Advantage

Aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry, specifically implant dentistry, requires detailed information of the patient's anatomy in order to achieve the most predictable and long lasting result.

The technology at Ickert Dental Implant Centre allows us to gather the most advanced set of images and models of our patients, which allows us to understand each patient's case prior to their surgery. This valuable information allows our team to provide patients with a complete and comprehensive treatment plan that minimizes the risk as well as provide them with a long-term oral health strategy.

Shown below are examples of how our various technologies help us evaluate each case.
